This week Mississippi Gridiron, in conjunction with Super Talk FM is rolling out the Super 25, ranking the top 25 high school football players in the state of Mississippi.
Five players a day will be released on air on Head to Head with Matt Wyatt and Richard Cross starting Monday afternoon as they work backwards from 25 to 1. North Panola senior running back Justin Connor struggled through an injury-filled junior season and has seen his recruiting profile fluctuate. Once rated as one of the nation’s top 100 overall prospects, he is currently rated the No. 20 running back in the nation by Scout and the state’s No. 8 prospect overall. He is the state’s No. 9 overall prospect according to 247Sports. Connor still rushed for 936 yards on 131 carries with seven touchdowns last year.
