This week Mississippi Gridiron, in conjunction with Super Talk FM is rolling out the Super 25, ranking the top 25 high school football players in the state of Mississippi.
Five players a day will be released on air on Head to Head with Matt Wyatt and Richard Cross starting Monday afternoon as they work backwards from 25 to 1. Meridian senior wide receiver Daniel Crowell led the Wildcats with 54 receptions for 988 yards and ten touchdowns last season. The Ole Miss commit earned a scholarship offer from Ohio State this summer and is ranked as the No. 17 prospect in Mississippi by 247Sports. He is ranked as the state’s No. 13 overall prospect by ESPN and the nation’s No. 60 wide receiver.
