This week Mississippi Gridiron, in conjunction with Super Talk FM is rolling out the Super 25, ranking the top 25 high school football players in the state of Mississippi.

Five players a day will be released on air on Head to Head with Matt Wyatt and Richard Cross starting Monday afternoon as they work backwards from 25 to 1.  You can hear the countdown every afternoon this week from 3-6 on their state wide radio program or check out their audio vault on their website if you missed it.

Today we look at number-21, D.D. Bowie of Morton High School.

Offers: Commited to Alabama – offers from Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, USM

Bowie burst onto the scene last year with 41 receptions for 945 yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore. An Alabama commit, his 23 yards per catch average drew attention, but an early scholarship offer from Alabama helped put Bowie on the recruiting map. He is rated as Mississippi’s No. 1 overall prospect for the 2017 class by 247Sports and the nation’s No. 88 prospect.
