Coach Speak: “We’re all very excited. The past three years the guys have won 31 games, two region titles and this year first South State championship and first appearance in the state championship. It’s all due to the hard work they’ve put because the five years before I got here they had won nine games combined,” said Long Beach coach Andee Wilburn.

Coach Speak: “This year we haven’t seen anyone they’ve seen, so it’s going to come down to whose fastest. We beat Amory in the finals two years ago, so they’ll want revenge. The guys are ready and after we lost last year it bought out the character. Discipline and of accountability is what got us to where we are and that is what we lacked us last year. Amory is good team and well coached and it will be a very competitive game,” said St. Stanislaus coach Danny Patton.
