High School Top 10 For Week 11

Columbus junior running back Kylin Hill.

This week’s Top 10 saw a lot of movement with several statement wins and a couple losses. South Panola and Starkville have been cemented as the state’s top two teams for several weeks, but Oak Grove drops from No. 3 to No. 8 after their loss at Brandon. Oxford moves to No. 3 and jumps Wayne County as the state’s top 5A team after several weeks of impressive performances. Wayne County remains at No. 4 with Warren Central jumping to No. 5 after a big win at Clinton. Brandon is No. 6 followed by Ocean Springs at No.7 with a big win over St. Martin. Newcomers to this week’s poll are West Point at No. 9 and Columbus at No. 10. West Point has been solid all season and Columbus was impressive with a dominating win over Olive Branch.
