Co-Lin sophomore quarterback Paul Hargrave (6’2, 215) was 21-28 passing for 201 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-3 win over Southwest.
All-Purpose, Phillip Short / Gulf Coast
Gulf Coast freshman quarterback Phillip Short (6’2, 210) was 10-23 passing for 215 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-25 win over Pearl River.
Running Back, Deondre House / Gulf Coast
Gulf Coast sophomore running back Deondre House (5’9, 180) rushed 21 times for 220 yards and a touchdown in a 42-25 win over Pearl River.
Wide Receiver, Cam Coleman / Northeast
Northeast freshman wide receiver Cam Coleman (5’10, 180) finished with seven receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown in a 35-10 win over Holmes.
Defensive Line, Navonteque Strong / Gulf Coast
Gulf Coast sophomore linebacker Navonteque Strong (6’1, 230) had six hurries and 13 tackles in a 42-25 win over Pearl River.
Linebacker, Corley Hooper / Itawamba
Itawamba sophomore linebacker Corley Hooper (6’2, 225) had a game-high 14 tackles with a tackle for loss in a 37-23 loss to Coahoma.
Defensive Back, Hershey McLaurin / Jones College
Jones College freshman Hershey McLaurin (6’2, 205) had an interception and a 27-yard fumble return touchdown in a 34-5 win over East Central. He also had three tackles and broke up a pass.
Kicker/Punter, Bryce Lofton / Co-Lin
Co-Lin sophomore kicker/punter Bryce Lofton (6’2, 210) was 2-2 on field goals (46 yards, 38 yards) and 5-5 on extra points to score 11 points in Co-Lin’s 41-3 win over Southwest.
