QB, Garrett Kruzcek, Co-Lin
Co-Lin quarterback Garrett Kruzcek led the Wolves to a 31-24 win over East Mississippi that snapped the Lions 26-game winning streak. He completed 32-49 passes for 390 yards and three touchdowns.
AP, Lakedric Lee, Co-Lin
Co-Lin running back Lakedric Lee had a monster game to help the Wolves over East Mississippi. Lee rushed for 113 yards on 26 carries and added 113 yards receiving on 12 receptions. Lee scored a pair of touchdowns.
RB, Justin Crawford, Northwest
Northwest sophomore running back Justin Crawford topped 100 yards for the second straight week, rushing for 131 yards on 28 carries in a win over Gulf Coast.
WR, Javon Wims, Hinds
Hinds wide receiver Javon Wims had a huge game against Northeast as he caught six passes for 191 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The Holmes offensive line came up big against Pearl River as they led an offense that ran for 366 yards on 66 carries. The Bulldogs ran for four touchdowns with a long rush of 58 yards.
DL, Terrence Jones, Itawamba
Itawamba defensive end Terrence Jones helped lead his team to a win over Jones County by collecting five tackles and three sacks last week.
LB, De’Arius Christmas, East MS
East Mississippi junior linebacker De’Arius Christmas racked up 16 total tackles and two sacks in a loss to Co-Lin. The former Warren Central star had 14 unassisted stops.
DB, Jalen Boney, East MS
East Mississippi defensive back Jalen Boney finished with ten total tackles and defended three passes in the Lions’ loss to Co-Lin.
PK, Mason Sollie, Hinds
Hinds placekicker Mason Sollie hit 3-3 field goals in the Eagles win over Northeast including a long of 43 yards. Sollie also was good on 5-5 extra point attempts.
