Senior quarterback Sam Craft led Olive Branch to an impressive 43-33 win over Memphis University School by completing 9-16 passes for 196 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed 24 times for 153 yards and three scores.
QB, Wes Windham, Sr, Ocean Springs
Senior quarterback Wes Windham completed 28-40 passes for 362 yards and three touchdowns in Ocean Springs’ 35-21 loss to Picayune.
RB, Dontavian Lee, Jr, Forrest County AHS
Junior running back Dontavian Lee carried the ball 25 times for 315 yards and two touchdowns to lift Forrest County AHS to a 21-20 win over Purvis.
RB, Nick Guy, Sr, Jackson Academy
Senior running back rushed 22 times for 200 yards and a touchdown to lead Jackson Academy to a 42-18 win over Lamar. Guy also had a touchdown reception.
RB, Ryan Cothern, So, Tri-County
Sophomore running back Ryan Cothern carried 16 times for 246 yards and six touchdowns in Tri-County’s 40-0 win over Prairie View (LA).
WR, Ishmael Morrow, Sr, Ocean Springs
Ocean Springs senior wideout Ishmael Morrow caught 18 passes for 263 yards and three touchdowns in the Greyhounds’ 35-21 loss to Picayune. Morrow’s reception total was one shy of the state record.
WR, Aaron McAlexander, Sr, Marshall Academy
Senior wideout Aaron McAlexander caught three passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns in Marshall’s 40-7 win over Carroll. McAlexander also had a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown.
WR, Keith Williams, Sr, Madison Central
Senior wide receiver Keith Williams caught five passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns in Madison Central’s 28-56 loss to West Monroe.
OL, Devin Farrior (Sr), Nathan Smith (Jr), David Anderson (Sr), Jared Walley(Sr) / Wayne County
The Wayne County offensive line, led by Southern Miss commit Devin Farrior, pounded out 377 rushing yards on 37 carries in a 44-20 win over George County. The War Eagles piled up 522 yards of total offense while passing for 245 yards.
DT, Devin Smith, Sr, Hancock
Senior defensive lineman Devin Smith collected ten tackles to help lead Hancock to a 27-14 win over West Harrison.
DT, Dylan Bradley, Sr, Noxubee County
Senior defensive tackle Dylan Bradley had eight tackles and four sacks in Noxubee County’s 6-0 win over West Point.
DE, James Tatum, Sr, Picayune
Senior defensive end James Tatum had nine tackles and a team-high two sacks in Picayune’s 35-21 win over Ocean Springs.
DE, Jacoby Lewis, Jr, Noxapater
Junior defensive end Jacoby Lewis led Noxapater to a 45-7 win over Sebastopol with eleven tackles, including three tackles for loss and one sack.
LB, Jeremy Sangster, Jr, Louisville
Junior linebacker Jeremy Sangster of Louisville had 25 total tackles, including 15 solo stops, in the Wildcats’ 21-13 loss to Columbus.
LB, Anthony Keyes, Sr, Hattiebsurg
Senior linebacker Anthony Keyes had eleven total tackles and a pair of sacks in Hattiesburg’s 38-7 win over Harrison Central.
LB, Chandler Pride, Sr, Jackson Prep
Senior linebacker Chandler Pride led Jackson Prep to a 9-0 win over Pearl with a team-high 16 tackles.
LB, Fred Walls, So, Olive Branch
Sophomore linebacker Fred Walls had a team-high nine tackles and 1 ½ sacks in Olive Branch’s 43-33 win over Memphis University School.
DB, Donta Walker, Sr, Vardaman
Senior defensive back Donta Walker picked off a pair of passes in Vardaman’s 13-7 win over Smithville.
DB, Darius Harris, Jr, Horn Lake
Junior defensive back Darius Harris had ten tackles and an interception in Horn Lake’s 10-0 win over Hernando.
DB, Colby Terrell, Sr, Lafayette
Senior defensive back Colby Terrell had ten tackles and two interceptions in Lafayette’s 44-25 win over Shannon.
DB, Reed Thames, Jr, Germantown
Junior defensive back Reed Thames had a team-high ten tackles in Germantown’s 28-26 win over Port Gibson. Thames also had one interception.
PK, Westin Graves, Sr, Jackson Prep
Senior placekicker Westin Graves hit all three of his field goal attempts to lift Jackson Prep to a 9-0 win over Pearl.
P, Zach Tranum, Sr, Madison Central
Senior punter Zach Tranum punted five times for an average of 48.5 yards per punt in Madison Central’s 56-28 loss to West Monroe. Tranum had two punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
