Sophomore quarterback Gardner Minshew passed for 289 yards and five touchdowns in Brandon’s 63-28 win over Forest Hill.

Senior quarterback Khadarel Hodge put up 340 yards of total offense and three touchdowns in Mendenhall’s 42-41 loss to Germantown.

Senior running back Ashton Shumpert carried the ball seven times for 236 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-13 win over Corinth.
RB, Daniel Goodspeed, Sr, Madison Central
Senior running back Daniel Goodspeed pounded out 147 yards on 25 carries with two touchdowns to lead Madison Central to a 33-28 win over Murrah.
RB, Nathan Vanderburg, Sr, Desoto Central
Senior running back Nathan Vanderburg rushed 23 times for 248 yards and four touchdowns in Desoto Central’s 39-14 win over Horn Lake.
WR, Malik Dear, So, Murrah
Murrah sophomore receiver Malik Dear caught seven passes for 95 yards, and rushed seven times for 124 yards and three touchdowns in Murrah’s 33-28 loss to Madison Central.
WR, Ishmel Morrow, Sr, Ocean Springs
Senior receiver Ishmel Morrow caught ten passes for 148 yards and a touchdown in Ocean Springs’ 24-21 overtime loss to D’Iberville.
WR, Octavious Cooley, Fr, Laurel
Freshman wide receiver Octavious Cooley had eight receptions for 144 yards and two touchdowns in Laurel’s 33-9 win over West Lauderdale.
The Starkville offensive line helped the Yellowjackets pound out 317 rushing yards on 45 carries in a 23-6 win over Provine. The Starkville offense posted 415 yards of total offense.

Junior defensive lineman Jermon Johnson of Ridgeland had a team-high 12 tackles in the Titans’ 48-6 win over Lanier.

Senior defensive lineman David Green had a team-high 12 tackles in Yazoo City’s 6-0 win over Canton.

Moss Point junior defensive end Gabriel Jackson had 12 tackles in a 40-7 win against West Harrison.

West Jones’ senior defensive end Xavier Thigpen had nine tackles and two sacks in the Mustangs’ 34-0 win over Stone.

Junior defensive back Quinn Tiggs had three interceptions, returning two for touchdowns, in Tupelo’s 35-14 win over Grenada.

Junior defensive back Devin Voorhies had ten tackles in a 32-14 win over Franklin County. Voorhies also totaled 269 yards of offense with four touchdowns.

Senior placekicker Nick Goyette was perfect on extra points hitting all three attempts, and made a 25-yard game-winning field goal in double overtime to lift #9 D’Iberville to a 24-21 win over Ocean Springs.
P, Nathan McDaniel, Sr, Northwest Rankin
Senior punter Nathan McDaniel punted six times averaging 41 yards per punt with two punts downed inside the 20, as Northwest Rankin beat Vicksburg 21-6.
