All-Purpose, Jack Walker / Northwest
Northwest freshman quarterback Jack Walker (6’3, 230) completed 9-16 passes for 213 and two touchdowns to help the Rangers to a 24-17 win over Jones.
Running Back, Jaquerrious Williams / Northwest
Northwest freshman running back Jaquerrious Williams (5’8, 200) needed 19 carries to rush for 97 yards and a touchdown in a 24-17 win over Jones.
Wide Receiver, Braden Smith / Northwest
Northwest sophomore wide receiver Braden Smith (5’11, 185) had seven receptions for 164 yards and a touchdown in a 24-17 win over Jones.
Defensive Line, Jamie Sheriff / Gulf Coast
Gulf Coast sophomore defensive end Jamie Sheriff (6’2, 260) finished with seven tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry in a 31-7 win over East Mississippi.
Linebacker, Navonteque Strong / Gulf Coast
Gulf Coast freshman linebacker Navonteque Strong (6’1, 230) had ten tackles, three sacks, three tackles for loss, an interception and broke up four passes in the 31-7 win over East Mississippi.
Defensive Back, Christian Cain / Northwest
Northwest sophomore defensive back Christian Cain (6’1, 175) had eight tackles, an interception and broke up a pass in the Rangers’ 24-17 win over Jones.
Kicker/Punter, Caden Davis / Gulf Coast
Gulf Coast freshman kicker and punter Caden Davis (5’8, 150) hit his only field goal attempt, was 4-4 on extra points and averaged 42.7 yards on three punts in the Bulldogs’ 31-7 win over East Mississippi.
