Gulf Coast sophomore quarterback Chance Lovertich completed 24-32 passes for 345 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions in a 55-24 win over Southwest.
All-Purpose, Jack Walker / Northwest
Northwest quarterback Jack Walker led the Rangers to a huge 56-36 win over East Mississippi by completing 15-26 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed four times for 25 yards.
Running Back, Patrick Jackson / Mississippi Delta
Mississippi Delta running back Patrick Jackson rushed 21 times for 139 yards and added a 23-yard touchdown reception as Delta beat Northeast 20-13.
Wide Receiver, Cameron Wynn / Northwest
Northwest wide receiver Cameron Wynn hauled in three passes for 144 yards with all three going for touchdowns in a 56-36 win over East Mississippi.
Defensive Line, Brian Merritt / Gulf Coast
Gulf Coast defensive lineman Brian Merritt racked up eleven total tackles including 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks as the Bulldogs beat Southwest 55-24.
Linebacker, Keshun Parker / Itawamba
Itawamba linebacker Keshun Parker had a team-high nine tackles including three tackles for loss and a sack in Itawamba’s 27-21 win over Holmes. Parker also broke up a pass.
Defensive Back, Shavoke’ Herrington / East Mississippi
East Mississippi defensive back Shavoke’ Herrington had a team-high eight tackles with a fumble recovery and an interception in a 56-36 loss to Northwest.
Kicker/Punter, Robens Beauplan / East Central
East Central punter/placekicker Robens Beauplan was 2-2 on extra points and 3-4 on field goals as East Central beat Co-Lin 23-18. Beauplan also punted four times for a 56.5 yard average.
