Today we take a look at the 2014, 5A – state runner up – the Oxford Chargers had a chance to catch up with their head coach Johnny Hill.

Many felt last year that Oxford was the most talented team in the state, regardless of classification – that label will be on them again this year as they return a 3000 yard passer in Tulane Commit – Jack Abraham, a thousand yard rusher in Kenzie Phillips and a 1200 – yard receiver in DK Metcalf.

The Chargers are out for revenge and look to return to the State Championship once again this year, only this time hoisting the gold ball.

LAST YEAR – The Tigers lost two games early to Starkville and West Point but after that went on a tear through 4A all the way to a state championship birth.
