Holmes County Central senior quarterback Justin Smith (6’1, 195) completed 10-16 passes for 282 yards and five touchdowns, while rushing for 95 yards and another two scores in a 50-20 win over Ridgeland.
All-Purpose, Ahmad Johnson / Pelahatchie
Pelahatchie senior running back Ahmad Johnson (6’1, 210) rushed 20 times for 361 yards and seven touchdowns in a 47-16 win over Morton.
Running Back, Omar Johnson/ Columbia
Columbia sophomore running back Omar Johnson (5’10, 185) rushed 27 times for 273 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-14 win over Magee.
Wide Receiver, Jordan Harvey / Velma Jackson
Velma Jackson junior wide receiver Jordan Harvey (6’2, 185) caught 11 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-21 loss to Raleigh. He also had eight tackles and returned a fumble for a score.
Defensive Line, Quantavious Lymon / Greenwood
Greenwood senior defensive tackle Quantavious Lymon (6’, 265) had nine total tackles including six tackles for loss and three sacks in a 34-0 win over Yazoo City.
Linebacker, Kristian Hopkins / Louisville
Louisville senior linebacker Kristian Hopkins (5’11, 220) had a team-high 13 tackles with three tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a 55-7 win over Kosciusko.
Defensive Back, Dorian Robinson / Picayune
Picayune sophomore defensive back Dorian Robinson (5’10, 170) picked off a pair of passes and forced a fumble in the Maroon Tide’s 63-14 win over Pascagoula.
Kicker, Remmington Smith / Grenada
Grenada senior kicker Remmington Smith (5’8, 155) was 6-6 on extra points and hit his only field goal attempt in a 45-28 win over Center Hill.
