Columbus senior defensive tackle Corey Brown had six total tackles, one sack, a fumble recovery and returned an onside kick attempt 50 yards for a touchdown in Columbus’ 44-29 win over Clinton.

DL, Fletcher Adams, Brandon
Brandon junior defensive tackle Fletcher Adams had seven tackles including three for loss and a sack in Brandon’s 42-7 win over Forest Hill.

DE,  Malik Steele, Warren Central
Junior defensive end Malik Steele collected five total tackles including one forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the Vikings’ 31-0 win over Greenville-Weston.

DE, Shaquille Shinault, Baldwyn
Senior defensive end Shaquille Shinault had six total tackles and recovered two fumbles in a 34-21 win over Mantachie. He recovered one fumble in the end zone and returned another 54 yards for a touchdown.

LB, Said Jones, Independence
Junior linebacker Said Jones had 16 tackles and broke up two passes in Independence’s 46-20 win over Palmer.

LB, Denarrius Noel, Hinds AHS
Hinds AHS senior Denarrius Noel had 12 tackles and three sacks in a 39-7 win over Sacred Heart.

LB, Forrest Harvey, Petal
Petal senior linebacker Forrest Harvey registered a game high 13 total tackles including a sack in Petal’s 31-14 loss to Oak Grove.

LB, Taylor Johnston, Starkville
Senior linebacker Taylor Johnson had 13 tackles and a fumble recovery in Starkville’s 35-0 win over Northwest Rankin.

DB, Jaylon Gaines, Biggersville
Biggersville senior defensive back Jaylon Gaines returned two interceptions for touchdowns, returned a fumble for a touchdown, returned a kickoff for a touchdown and threw a touchdown in a 50-12 win over Vardaman.

DB, Stacee James, Pearl
Pearl junior defensive back Stacee James had three interceptions in Pearl’s 43-6 win over Canton.

DB, Cadarius Pannell, Wayne County
Junior defensive back Cadarius Pannell collected eight total tackles, had an interception and deflected two passes as Wayne County beat Brookhaven 44-6.

Clarksdale senior Juantavius Gray registered a team high 14 tackles including 13 solo stops as Clarksdale beat West Point 39-34. Gray also had an interception.
