Coach Speak: “Veteran group and a lot of guys back that played quite a bit last year. Everybody feels good and wired up and ready to go. If we can stay healthy we will be fine. They key for us is staying focus every week and not looking ahead,” Miller said.

Outlook: Head coach M.C. Miller is calling it a career after 45 years in the coaching industry and the Wildcats want to send him out on a high note. If the Wildcats can stay healthy they’ll be hard to handle. Louisville returns starting quarterback Deontae Yarbrough who tossed for 1,564 yards with 23 touchdowns and also rushed for 367 yards with five scores. Running back Kevon Jackson returns after rushing for 761 yards with six touchdowns to help lead the offense. Defensively is where Louisville will be dangerous. Defensive tackle Charles Moore is back after missing all of last year with a torn ACL and will help anchor a veteran defense line along with Antrous Glenn and Derius Hopkins. Linebackers Ashanti Cistrunk, J’Kevious Hibbler and Jehmiah Harden all return to help anchor the front seven.
